PRODUCTIVITY (is bullshit)
well- because most SLPs (and bosses and companies) have super weird and impossible definitions of productivity.

I gave one of my clients the assignment to REDEFINE the word productive for herself.
Most people use the word “productive” as a weapon to beat up on themselves.
Here’s the fun inner-dialog (drastically abridged version):
“be more, do more, c’mon everyone else is- why can’t I? Well I have a ton of shit to do and….oh yeah, there’s something wrong with me and I’m not good- (unless i get more done) I should be doing something productive.”
Inadvertently damaging your ability to be an SLP (and person).

Nope, it won’t work to just think about doing it.
