Coaching Program for SLP Burnout.
Hey Burnt out Speech Therapist, I see you.
You are incredibly insightful, caring, and smart; there’s still a part of you that loves the work you do and the therapeutic process. You see glimmers of progress and those moments when you get an awesome idea; you share a meaningful moment, you laugh with your client…
These are the twinklings you wish you had more time and energy for.
But there’s TOO MUCH of everything.
- The paperwork is unending
- You’re afraid of doing it wrong
- An unhappy or questioning parent or caregiver
- You feel like the time just gets away from you
- Another unexpected speech-language evaluation
- You leave work feeling drained and discouraged
- The over-enthusiastic co-worker that stresses you out
- You dread going to work
SLP Burnout is NOT your fault
Listen, it’s NOT you! You probably think you’re doing it wrong in some way or that you’re in the wrong career.
As Speech Language Pathologists, educators, healthcare providers… we’ve been trained, educationally, culturally… into perfectionism, people pleasing, rule-following, and hyper-productivity… these are the norms in our helping fields and in the threads of who we have been shaped to be.
It makes sense that you, feel like you are doing it wrong, especially if you follow all the bouncy, enthusiastic Speech Language therapist’s on social media. You’ve probably even been blamed for feeling burnt out as a Speech and Language professional.
You should know that blame and shame, (including inadvertent self-blame and shame), is a tool that society uses to keep the status quo and keeps YOU questioning your worth.- which causes burnout and stagnancy in speech pathology, teaching, healthcare… so much more.
You’re simply ready to…
- Have fun in your career
- Step into the amazing Speech Pathologist you are
- Stop bringing work home
- Own your expertise as an SLP professional
- AND still have energy for yourself at the end of the day
Enough is Enough
You shouldn’t have to put your well-being on hold for this career. In fact, you know that YOUR WELL-BEING is the very foundation of your growth and happiness as an SLP, educator, and helper (miracle worker- yep I mean YOU).
Even though Burnout rates among Speech Language Pathologists have become rampant, turns out all that stress, overwhelm and imposter syndrome are NOT prerequisites for having a joyful and generative SLP life.
You do NOT have to pay your dues with SLP Burnout, ever. NOPE!!
I’m here to tell you, It’s totally possible to
- Feel better
- Get your time back
- Get your energy back
- and use that time and energy for what YOU want (while still providing for yourself)

Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: I’m a busy SLP; have a job, family, and other obligations- will I have time for this program?
A: You will need 50-60 minutes weekly, for the small group scheduled coaching sessions. Then you will need 20-30 minutes daily to complete activities to learn and apply the strategies. This program is meant to teach skills that establish your commitment to your well-being and exponentially create way more time in the long run. Plus, it’s fun, flexible, and nurturing.
Q: Do you offer installment plans?
A: Absolutely, on a case-by-case basis, we can set up a payment plan that works for you. The intention of this program is to help you avoid costly mistakes and be in a career where you maximize your earnings without sacrificing yourself.
Q: I’m a new SLP. Is this program only for people who are completely burned out?
A: You don’t need any certain level of experience or burnout. The strategies I teach can be applied at any level. In fact, applying them in a proactive way will set you ahead of the game.
Q: Do you offer refunds?
A: Yes. However, you must show up on time for every live session, send all completed practices, and provide examples of how you applied the new skills I will be teaching you. I am so confident in the effectiveness of this program. However, you must be open and willing to go all in and engage with the applications. This is not a program to be consumed, it is a program to be acted upon, practiced, and integrated over time. That is how you will generate more time, energy, and resources for yourself and get massive results that will compound for decades.
Q: I’m not an SLP, would this program work for me?
A: All of the methods I teach can be applied to any career. Most of the stories and examples I provide come from my experience as an SLP, but are relevant to especially helping careers or moms.

SLP burnout.
You wouldn’t ask your speech and language students/clients to make progress without giving them the intervention, coaching, and support they need.
The same issue applies to you, dear SLP, and having a sustainable career that affords you the freedom, time, and money you want. Learn from an expert. Get support. Make amazing progress.
Gah, you don’t want to wake up 3 years from now realizing that after all of your hard work, you are still…
- Dreading Mondays
- Wishing your weeks away
- Feeling run down and lackluster
Seriously, not be a Debby-downer, but that’s what so many are doing. Are you ready to stop, just barely getting through the day-to-day? Turn work into something you can actually look forward to? Make money and still have time and freedom to do things for yourself?
This:
The Stop Dreading Mondays Program for SLPs
Specializes in helping Speech-Language Pathologists (like you) build the career and life you want through a 6 step model.
- What’s not working: We get laser clear and outline the major obstacles that take too much of your time and energy. I will guide you through a process that will reveal where your precious resources are going, and why.
- Your Goal and Why: Whenever we want to change our life. We need a strong reason behind it. We will go through a series of discussions and exercisesthat clarify your wants and needs and develop a compelling reason for you wanting something different.
- Reality check: Real talk here! Every damn time you get home from work drained; what do you feel like doing? Doing what we want -matters; I will teach you tools that empower you to create the time, resources (e.i. money), and energy you truly want. So you can do what the F’ you want.
- Organize your mind: I will teach a simple self-coaching model to organize EVERYTHING in your life (and what happens in the world) into 5 categories: Circumstances, Thoughts, Feelings, Actions, and Results. Get a crystal clear picture of why you feel the way you do and why you’re getting the results you get. Then we progressively eliminate the cause of why you feel so overwhelmed and disillusioned by work (and everything else on your plate). We cultivate a sense of safety and acceptance within you as a springboard to the confidence, peace, and F’ing FUN you want in your career and life as a Speech Language Pathologist professional.
- We put it all together: By using this flexible framework, you will be able to make decisions from a place of clarity, not fear. Empower yourself in understanding how to approach any work from a different, more energizing perspective. You’ll start taking action to meet YOUR goals (like feeling better, having more grounded certainty, and being able to goof-off more).
- Practice, rinse and repeat: Support to help you transfer and generalize new skills. You’ll get tips and tricks to master the new, badass SLP you. You will have these tools for life.
No matter where you are in your Speech Therapist journey, I will meet you there. From just providing
yourself the time to get clarity on what you really want (even if it does mean quitting), to helping you thrive in creating more for yourself at home and at work.
BurnoutThe burnout recovery skills you learn will save you years of heartache and dissatisfaction and recoup massive time, energy, and resources.
This program is about following a sequence of actionable strategies that will facilitate progress toward you engaging with your career (and life), cultivating balance, and recovering more time and energy for the things you truly want. Eventually creating an empowered, fulfilled life that feels generative not draining.
Give yourself permission to get support.
You might say, “I would never do that, and what if it doesn’t work for me? Then I’ll feel even worse.”
It’s true, The SLP Burnout Program -by itself- doesn’t work- it does need YOU, my love. I provide YOU the support and tools you so that YOU CAN show up and do this without judging yourself, and you’ve learned to empower yourself on so many levels, for years to come. When you are “IN” your own problems, it can be hard to create solutions toward your way “OUT” of your problems. Problem is, most SLPs think they “should” be able to solve burnout problems on their own. Don’t be “should-y” with yourself.
Get some dang help
I have an organized plan created especially for Speech-Language Pathologists because, as an SLP, I understand the demands placed on us at work and how seemingly impossible it can be to “do it all.”
A couple of fun facts about Angie, SLP Burnout and Life CoachSLP Burnout
- I’ve been a Speech Language Pathologist for 21 years, starting off in preschool and early intervention. I have been working for a public school district, grades k-12 for the past 15 years and I love it (now).
- I’ve been a certified life coach for 11 years. I’ve coached hundreds of SLPs and people who want to feel better (including myself- on the daily- HA!).
- I am a wife and a momma.
- I have ADHD, anxiety, and intermittent depression
- I’m obsessed with making things easy and fun.
- I am a true and ongoing product of this program. I’m constantly living, experimenting, tweaking, and improving on my own processes and thinking about how my clients can make them work for them in their own, unique ways.
- I love working in my gardens, farting around, creating stuff, and goofing off.
Our field of Speech-Language Pathology needs preventative Burnout Coaching and support- built in. Sadly, it’s not.
I’ve spent years honing these specific SLP burnout tools and skills. I want to help you prevent and recover from burnout, clarify and engage with your career and life in a meaningful way, and support you in the challenge of doing this transformational work.
The techniques and strategies I use are based on cognitive behavioral therapy, positive psychology, the self-coaching 101 model, and somatic interventions.
These are the same strategies I continue to use in my journey to recover, prevent and thrive way beyond burnout (without quitting), engage with my life in a meaningful way and …just feel better (relief).
Quitting SLP wasn’t the answer for me. It might be for you, but please, please, please get the true clarity, skills, and confidence you need before you make any rash decisions.
I can totally relate to you wanting more freedom and energy. Resenting your job because of it. I was ashamed and embarrassed to even admit that I didn’t like my job. I mean I work with (mostly) cute kids. I used to say to myself…What’s wrong with you? It seems like EVERYONE else likes it?”
I believe in the SLP-work you are doing and we need you. Having you stuck, barely keeping up is not okay. I created this program because I have been where you are. I don’t want you to go it alone. I am able to fuse my two passions; being an SLP with helping other smart SLPs live their best lives.
This burnout program was made for you if…
- You want to stop feeling so drained from your work
- You love having someone encouraging you and keeping you on track
- You need a clear, step-by-step plan to help you back out of burnout and overwhelmed while setting some exciting, intentional goals for yourself
- You are ready for true transformation and …want relief
- You are a Speech Language Pathologist who is ready for a change but confused about what to do next
Feeling better takes effort.
Burnout, overwhelm and feeling run down also takes effort.
The latter?…is exponentially exhausting.
Which kind of effort do you want to be taking?

Here’s what more peeps say about working with Angie
Life coaching with Angie was such a fulfilling experience! She helped shed some light on my own thought processes, challenged my thinking, and taught me how to inspire myself! I gained a great deal of clarity in sorting out my thinking and found ways to think healthier and happier thoughts; thoughts that keep me motivated and give me strength. Thank you, Angie!! But seriously, Thank You, again and again. It was such a great learning experience, but a healthy challenge too! It’s tough, but the more I practice it, I know I’ll get the hang of it. Your time, energy, and ears did not go unnoticed and were so appreciated. I feel like I can really tackle anything coming my way. It all lies within our thoughts….who knew?!? I always used to say, when I hit a bump in the road, “I got this”, but now I truly believe, “I Got This!” So bring it on!! haha! 🙂 What a gift you’ve shared with me and I will be forever grateful!

Wow, what can I say? It was by far the best use of my money. I’ve attend numerous seminars with prominent speakers. Angie makes them all pale in comparison. I now walk away with tools that will forever change my life. No matter if you’re looking to take yourself to the next level or you’re having issues that just seem to hard to bear I promise you will walk away feeling empowered.

Life Coaching with Angie has helped me find a new way to think and process my thoughts for a positive outcome. She was very easy to talk with, her kindness & compassion was just what I needed to feel comfortable. Angie would listen and ask penetrating questions that really made me think. She brought awareness that the results I want in my life are attainable. I can honestly say it has been a life-changing experience which has inspired a new outlook. I am beyond grateful to Angie for all her exceptional help.

Angie has been my life coach for 4 months. She is amazing, she does not tell you what to do, she does not judge you, she simply teaches you and guides you to be aware of your thoughts and she does it with pure love. There is a formula to doing it, you don’t realize how your thoughts can control you and make you miserable, sad, angry, so many emotions I can’t even write them all. It seems like an easy process but it isn’t. Coaching is not counseling, coaching is very different. When I first met Angie I had an immediate connection with her and when she started coaching me, I told her some things about my life and my struggles. One was that my mom died suddenly 3 years ago and I have struggled with it. She asked me to tell her my story basically and I did. I told her I use to be a light to so many and she said my light would shine again that she saw it in me. She told me one day my story would change and she was right, Angie has helped me change my story. Last month I decided to try to this (this being everything she taught me) on my own for awhile and Angie’s response was “I am so proud of you”. She is very special and I can’t thank her enough for everything she has helped me see in my life and to find my light and have it shine bright again. I am so grateful to her.

Angie! …I can not even tell you how much the sessions inspired me… It gave me a voice…and invaluable tools that I can use to help me reach the goals that I have set for myself. I looked forward to every session, and took such valuable information away at the end. It left me with such peace in my heart and a clear vision of the direction of my path. The lessons I learned are burned on my brain!
~Thank You for giving me the flame to ” LIGHT the POWDER in my PANTIES!!!” LOL
Pattie H.
Angie! you are all of that(expert problem inspector, thought detective, ninja, etc) and sooooooo much more!! If anyone is on the fence about signing up….GO FOR IT! it is so worth it! Angie is AWESOME! ♥ She helped to clarify my way of thinking and to better understand how my thoughts impact my feelings and actions so now I can make changes…..FOR THE BETTER! Thanks Angie 🙂

I always heard of people saying that they had life-changing experiences, but never really believed them. Until I met my life coach Angie. She led me to a path in life that I could say those exact words. “Life Changing.” Understanding why I feel, act and react to different situations in life became clear. Having the experience of learning how to love myself again and welcoming all different life experiences as positive outcomes, made me a stronger better person! Each session became stepping-stones toward self-confidence and reaching my goals. Life coaching with Angie = LIFE CHANGES…that you want!

If you’re thinking about coaching with Angie–do it. Her perfect combination of compassion and insight always gets me gently into the heart of the issue and out the other side before I know what’s happened. Without fail our conversations leave me with more insight and personal transformation than I imagined possible in a single hour.
Jenny R.
I always felt able to relax and let go when working with Angie. Angie walks her talk and knew a lot about what I was going through because of all the self-coaching she has done. She believed in me. I love that.
